I just heard about a new bodybuilding movie called No Pain No Gain staring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock that will drop in 2013. It seems Michael Bay has turned his back (momentarily) on directing CG machines and turned his focus towards directing this dark comedy about two steroid abusing bodybuilders who are caught up in an extortion ring and kidnapping plot that goes terribly wrong. Apparently it’s been described as “a mixture of Fargo and Pulp Fiction” or “Point Break with bodybuilders”. I’m still waiting for a No Pain No Gain trailer to be released and when it does I will post it here. Let’s hope this film is a winner.
